Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel is quickly learning the team’s offense. "The funny thing is it's easier to learn than the offense I had at Florida State," Manuel recently told SiriusXM NFL Radio. And the style of the offense, Manuel said, suits him very well. "It's a true West Coast-type progression offense,” Manuel said. “That's really what I wanted when I was coming through the pre-draft process. I wanted something that I could just go in and say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, check it down and run it. That's it, it's that simple. I love it." To help is progression, Manuel said he spent extra time working with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett to make sure he understood the team’s system. He also said he has bonded with his teammates. "I think the biggest thing is we all come from winning programs,” Manuel said about several of his teammates. “We're used to winning; we're used to preparing to win.” It’s that “winning” that Manuel hopes to bring to the Bills. "Winning is an attitude and mindset, and we have to bring it to our team," he said. Be sure to check out other great articles at Sports Media 101.

Tim Graham of The Buffalo News caught up with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and asked him if the Bills can remain relevant without a new stadium. “Yes, I do, very much,” Jones said this morning. “I not just approve of it, but I’m really excited for the league that we’ve got the recent improvements negotiated. “That’s going to be very important to the Bills and their fans...

The Weekly Buzz- Why It’s Time Rookie QB’s Shut Up

Hey EJ Manuel – Quiet Time Starts Now I’d like to start off this week’s column by saying something that may come across as crude or unnecessarily harsh, but please know that I mean it with no malice or ill intent. I simply feel it needs to be said now rather than waiting until this thing goes any further. EJ Manuel, PLEASE shut the hell up. If you’re confused as to...

Donterrious Porter trying to follow Fred Jackson’s footsteps

For three days, seven rounds and 256 picks, Donterrious Porter desperately hoped to see his name scroll across the TV screen on draft weekend. (courtesy: NY Post) Kevin Kolb finds himself in a somewhat unfamiliar position with the Buffalo Bills after a failed two-year experiment with the Cardinals. A couple of miserable and painful...

Bills fan has incredible O.J. Simpson mugshot tattoo

If anything, it’s some real good tattoo work. Question is, who in their right mind would choose to get a giant O.J. Simpson mugshot tattoo on their left thigh? We don’t know the name of this fella, but he must be a rabid Bills fan who appreciates all O.J. had done for the team from 1969 to 1977. Anyway, someone talked this guy into pulling his pants down in an alley to show off his fine ink…
