Eli Manning can take one look at his brother Peyton to know all there is to know about life in the NFL. Peyton’s career was on the verge of ending due to a neck injury, and the realization that the ride could be over fueled his brother to keep fighting for every inch. Eli has won two Super Bowls, finally is recognized as an elite quarterback, and very firmly entrenched as the starting quarterback for the New York Giants. So when the team drafted Syracuse signal caller Ryan Nassib, Eli didn’t blink, so to speak. "I understand that one day it will end," Manning said, via Newsday. "You never know what's going to happen, so you have to take advantage of it and work hard to make sure that every year that you play, you do everything you can to win another championship." "I feel like I'm playing at a high level, this is the prime of my career and I appreciate my job every day," he said. "I'm fortunate that I get to play quarterback in the NFL and I love all the aspects, the work that goes into it. And I'm still hungry to improve my game, to get better and to win more championships in New York." "I think it's always good to have a young quarterback who can come in and be prepared," Manning said. "You never know what happens in this league and you always have to have quality players on your team at quarterback."
