There's been a lot of talk for the past month or so surrounding the New York Jets' quarterbacks in Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez.

Both have been garnering much attention over who is going to start. It also helps when you have Tebow as the most popular athlete in the biggest city, and you also have Sanchez, who girls somehow always want to go for.

With all of this happening, no one has talked about Eli Manning, who is just coming off his second Super Bowl win with the Giants.

"New York Giants just won a championship yet I'm still the third most-talked-about quarterback in my own city," Manning jokingly said in a panel discussion with Fox Sports following his college Ole Miss honoring him. After he said the comment, the whole audience burst into laughter.

This definitely looks like a preview of what's to come for Eli, as he hosts Saturday Night Live on May 5, doing something a lot similar to what his brother Peyton did a few years ago.

"I am looking forward to it," he said last week. "'Saturday Night Live' will be fun and it will be a new experience for me.

"Right now, I am probably more anxious than anything just to kind of figure out what I might be doing. I might be doing something that is a little bit out of my character or uncomfortable. But I'm looking forward to just working hard that week and having a lot of laughs and being prepared."

Eli Manning Talks Slow, Moves Slow and Now Makes Ole Miss Cars Drive Slow

Eli Manning's tendency to take things nice and easy may be causing some drivers at his alma mater to grit their teeth. Ole Miss has set the speed limit on the road near the school's football stadium at 10 miles per hour, Yahoo Sports reports. Athletic director Ross Bjork tweeted a photo of the new signs. The number "10" was chosen because it is Manning's jersey...

5 NFL Draft “Busts” of the Past Decade

When you think of the NFL Draft, guys like Eli Manning, Ndamukong Suh, and late-round steals like Tom Brady usually come to mind. As yet another batch of college stars come into the league, every fan hopes that their team avoids the dreaded pick that ends up flaming out, potentially setting a team back years [...]

Tebow to speak at Cincinnati Christian University

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow will talk about ''faith and football'' to a packed house at Cincinnati Christian University. School spokesman Steve Carr said some 2,000 people are expected to hear Tebow on Tuesday in a discussion in the school gym and at an evening fundraising banquet. Recently traded to the Jets from Denver, Tebow is known for late-game heroics...

A Sex Bounty on Tim Tebow?

A skanky website is on a mission to “out” Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow. They’re offering one million bucks to any woman who can prove she’s had sex with the self-professed virgin. (As if a woman who would publicly admit to sleeping with someone for money really needed the money to sleep with said dude to begin with.) The website, Ashley Madison, has a reputation...

There’s Now a Bounty on Tim Tebow’s Virginity

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow‘s virginity being worth an estimated one million dollars. That’s right, the good guy himself is supposedly saving himself for marriage due to his religious beliefs, but not everyone really buys that. AshleyMadison.com happen to be some of those that are skeptical of this whole situation. The web site which [...]

NFL Films: Tim Tebow is better than Earl Campbell and Marcus Allen

The NFL Network and NFL Films has done it again with one of their Top 10 lists. A few years ago, they made the decision to include both Syracuse and the MAC as football factories, while leaving Oklahoma and Texas off. Yesterday evening, they released their Top 10 list of Heisman Winners in the NFL [...]

Don't leave NFL Network out of the ridiculous TebowMania overhyping game

Traditionally, it has been ESPN at the front of the Tim Tebow bandwagon.  This week, NFL Network came along and kicked Skip Bayless from out of the driver's seat with as transparent and gross of a ploy for ratings and buzz as you'll see from a network.  I love NFL Films, I grew up with all the bloopers VHS tapes and even have all the music downloaded in iTunes.  However...

Tim Tebow Will Be Great For The Jets

I think the Jets made a good move bringing in Tim Tebow. We know he can start if he has to, making him a great back up QB. The Broncos drafted Tebow in the first round then the Jets gave up a fourth round pick to get him, now you have two first round picks at QB. The perception of everyone outside of New York is that the Jets; the players and coaches are an evil organization. Timmy...

Jets inform Tebow he’ll be playing on special teams

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Jets have told back up quarterback Tim Tebow that they will be using him on special teams as a punt protector.  Sounds like a joke to me, but it’s unfortunately true. I guess the Jets were once again starving for attention, so they decided to make it known that Tebow will be playing on special teams.  If this isn’t a sign that...

2012-2013 NFL Schedule: The Good, the Bad, and the Really Funny

The NFL has released their 2012-2013 season schedule and it isn’t without the usual fanfare. It took me a couple of days to fully process what I was looking at and now I can say that there are some teams that will be thrown into it early (Cincinnati and Baltimore play week 1), some teams that may be looking at an early hole (Philadelphia Eagles) and some teams could benefit greatly...

QB Tim Tebow To Be Used On Jet's Punt Team

When the New York Jets acquired quarterback Tim Tebow via trade, they indicated they would use him in a number of different roles. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have told Tebow that they plan to use him on special teams as the punt protector. Source: The Redzone Attached Thumbnails

The New York Jets Won’t Be Trading Up To Get Richardson

For the past week we have been hearing lots of talk about the Jets wanting to trade up to get into position to have a chance to draft Trent Richardson. Talk out of New York today confirms the fact it would have been far to costly to make the deal required to draft Richardson. The Jets will have to take their chances with the people they already have or get someone as a walk on. The...

More gasoline added to the Tim Tebow-Mark Sanchez controversy in New York

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan continues to tell the media at every turn that Mark Sanchez will be the starting quarterback in 2012. However, yet another unheralded player has managed to stir the pot during this offseason. Coming off an offseason with Alabama QB Greg McElroy telling stories about how the Jets locker room was operating at a dysfunctional level, another player has...
