New Jets quarterback Tim Tebow draws attention for just about anything and everything he does, both on and off the field, and because of this he’s a lightning rod for criticism.  Now that he’s landed in New York City that microscope he’s under has multiplied by a thousand, and one ex-NFL player thinks that Tebow needs to chill when it comes to the media by trying something he hasn’t ever attempted before…keeping a low profile. This was former Patriots linebacker and current ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi’s recommendation to the Jets backup, during an appearance on ESPN’s NFL 32.  Bruschi, though, was pretty glib when he gave his thoughts on how Tebow should act with the national media. From ESPN New York… “Stop talking to the media so much,” Bruschi said. “You need to disappear, okay, Tim Tebow? You’re not the starting quarterback, it’s Mark Sanchez’s team. I want my voice to come from my head coach and my quarterback — my starting quarterback. That messag...

Ron Jaworski: Tebow is 30th best QB

Let’s forget about what his NFL peers may think about New York Jets’ superstar backup QB Tim Tebow, and turn to someone who understands the quarterback position better than most, and who studies game film of the position more than anyone. He isn’t nearly as flattering. ESPN analyst and Monday Night Football announcer Ron Jaworski [...]

Tedy Bruschi to Tebow: Stop talking and disappear

Being the polarizing figure that he is, Tim Tebow has been the brunt of a million different critics. Well, keeping with the trend, here’s the latest from No. 1,000,001. During a segment on ESPN’s NFL32, analyst Tedy Bruschi opined that Tebow, seeing how he’s not the starting quarterback, should do the team (and Mark Sanchez) a solid by ducking out of sight. “Stop talking...
