via Toledo Blade It all started in 2007 when former Michigan running back Mike Hart called Michigan State Michigan’s “little brothers.”  That moniker may have popped up on one or two Michigan State chalkboards over the next few years as the Spartans went on to win the next four matchups. On Wednesday, former Michigan quarterback and Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Denard Robinson thought it’d be fun to join in on the “little brother” action.  During an interview on Big Ten Network’s “#BTNLive”, Robinson was asked to rank Michigan’s biggest rivals.  He put Ohio State one, Notre Dame two and Michigan State three. When he got to State, he added, ““Michigan State’s our little brothers.” Did Robinson not remember going 1-3 against MSU, including 1-2 when he was the starting quarterback?  Did he forget that Michigan State looked the perennial September Heisman winner look pedestrian?  The numbers speak for themselves: via http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb Sticks and stones will break your bones, but names like “little brother” will never hurt anyone – especially when it means winning three out of every four years. Whatever helps you sleep at night, Denard.
