During week 17 Atlanta Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud broke his middle finger in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That didn’t stop him from competing in the playoffs. DeCoud even went as far as to play in the Pro Bowl with the crippled finger. At first glance it looks like he is throwing gang signs. DeCoud tweeted the picture yesterday giving us some insight into his injury. Much respect is due to DeCoud. He could have been one of the many to not participate in the Pro Bowl but he didn’t. Resilience!  At least we know he can still pull off a good DX crotch chop when needed. Now hopefully he has a good doctor on speed dial, and not the guy from S.W.A.T.
