The New York Daily News reported on Wednesday that the San Francisco 49ers are interested in trading for Darrelle Revis and that the Atlanta Falcons "could emerge as a player" in pursuing Revis.
Publicly, both NFC teams tried to dampen those suggestions later on Wednesday.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Wednesday that Revis Island "is not relocating" to Atlanta. Another report from CBSSports.com also said the Falcons aren't interested. The Falcons reportedly are focused on their own free agents, starting with safety William Moore.
