In recent seasons, I have looked away from drafting any running back from the New York Jets on any of my fantasy rosters. That will be different this season after the team traded for restricted free agent running back Chris Ivory of the New Orleans Saints. Ivory should be expected to carry the bulk of the load for the Jets in 2013 and should be considered as a solid RB 2 next season with upside to be a low RB1 in some leagues. The New Orleans Saints have long held a running back by committee approach and Ivory has been languishing on the Saints roster, just needing the opportunity to become a full time starter. I have followed his career closely and get to see him play twice a year as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in their division. He is a powerful runner with a career 5.1 yards per carry average.
