Entering the halfway point of most regular seasons in the 2013 Fantasy Football world, it’s time to go on a run. Whether you’re in strong position for the postseason or are still in the middle of the pack, the season’s second half is where the important momentum will be gained. As for the waiver wire, we must keep a close watch on it every week because injuries and/or a lack of production is always a concern for non-star players. So let’s check out who gets the green light from the fantasy market leading into Week 6.   Andre Ellington: RB, Arizona Cardinals Rookie back Andre Ellington is gradually improving his contributions for Arizona. Although he has just 120 rushing yards thus far, Ellington averages 6.7 yards per attempt and also has 144 receiving yards on 13 receptions. Clearly a dual-threat talent, Ellington’s explosive speed and ability to make plays in space is an advantage for the Cardinals. Expect him to see an increase in opportunities as the 2013 season progresses.   Austin Pettis: WR, St. Louis Rams Like Ellington, Austin Pettis of the Rams has been producing more as the year moves onward. With 222 yards on 22 receptions and four scores entering Week 6, Pettis leads St. Louis in receiving touchdowns and first downs. Factor in Sam Bradford’s other targets and Pettis will almost never face double coverage. He’s a strong add as a No. 3/flex receiver and is capable of being the No. 2 guy when bye weeks come and you need a filler.   Jerricho Cotchery: WR, Pittsburgh Steelers Pittsburgh’s Jerricho Cotchery has seen a consistent number of targets and receptions through four games in 2013. The downside, however, is that the Steelers remain winless and at the bottom of the AFC North. The plus side of that fantasy-wise is that it will keep Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger throwing the rock. Cotchery is also third on the team with 26 targets, but leads with an average of 16.5 yards per catch. With the ability to make big plays, expect his production to continue this season.   Follow John on Twitter @Rozum27 The post Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Key Adds For Week 6 appeared first on Midwest Sports Fans.
