Arizona Cardinals @ New England PatriotsThe Arizona Cardinals (1-0) finally made a choice on their starting quarterback in John Skelton. Then, you guessed it, Skelton goes out in week 1 and gets hurt and will miss week 2 and most likely more. Kevin Kolb is going to be the starting quarterback in week 2 and is not worth a fantasy play. Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams both struggled during week 1 and will do so again in week 2 against what seems to be an improved Patriots defense.Larry Fitzgerald is a must start every week, "START YOUR STUDS!" Andre Roberts lines up opposite of Fitzgerald and had a good showing in week 1 but don't expect that again this week. Todd Heap is not a fantasy factor.Good starts:Larry FitzgeraldMiddle of the road: N/ABad starts: Kevin Kolb, Todd Heap, Andre Roberts, Beanie Wells, Ryan Williams The New England Patriots (1-0) are coming off a one-sided victory, winning 34-13. Tom Brady 'Good at Making Pancakes,' According to Cardinals Kicker Jay Feely

Tom Brady will be remembered for a lot of accomplishments, none of which concern his cooking habits. Don't let that fool you, though, Brady is actually a Grade A chef. That's at least true when it comes to cooking up a mean breakfast, according to Cardinals kicker Jay Feely, who was a teammate and roomate of Brady at Michigan in 1997 and 1998. "There was a summer we...

Patriots look to build on win over Tennessee

Bill Belichick got one of his answers he was looking for in the Titans game. He found out that his defense can shut down a premier running back with speed cold in his tracks. Against Arizona this weekend, the question will be whether they can they shut down an elite receiver in Larry Fitzgerald. Starting quarterback John Skelton has an ankle sprain, so Kevin Kolb will be the guy...

Week NFL Preview: Arizona Cardinals at New England Patriots

If you don’t follow me on Twitter, well, you’re doing Twitter wrong, bu that’s beside the point. This Sunday I am going to get a hashtag trending worldwide. A lofty goal I am aware, but with the power of the NFL on my side I think I can achieve this goal. Now, Cardinals’ fans are cute. They really are. Regardless of the fact that there are like 12 teams with bird-influenced...

Larry Fitzgerald is going to conduct the Phoenix Symphony

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will conduct the National Anthem on Sept. 20 for the Phoenix Symphony, according to FOXSports.com. "I'm definitely going to go out there and give it my best shot," Fitzgerald said. "I've been watching YouTube videos of conductors late into the night to see what they actually do. Arizona Cardinals defense provides unique test for Patriots

Dockett and Co. gave the Seahawks all they could handle in last week's win Arizona Cardinals (1-0) at New England Patriots (1-0) 1 p.m. Both the Patriots and Cardinals come into this week 2 matchup undefeated, but the Patriots are clearly the more talented and balanced team. The Cardinals had trouble running the ball, lost their starting quarterback and running back to...

WSU NOTEBOOK: Will it be Tuel or Halliday?

LAS VEGAS – Mike Leach is an accomplished football coach, but his greatest skill might be his ability to answer a question at length without providing an answer. Alas, it is the reporter’s solemn duty to ask questions. So, Mike, who’s it going to be at quarterback next week – Jeff Tuel or Connor Halliday?

Larry Fitzgerald: Best wide receiver ever?

Even when his larynx is producing sounds and his lips are moving to form those sounds into words and his left temporal lobe is stringing those words together to create whole sentences, Bill Belichick rarely actually says anything. And that's why, on the rare occasions in which the cliché-dispensing New England Patriots head coach breaks from the status quo and offers...

Bill Russell Admires Bill Belichick's Coaching Philosophy to 'Win With What You Have'

Bill Russell and Bill Belichick are two of the region's greatest winners, and at least one of those champions has great respect for the other. At the conclusion of an extended interview with NBA.com, Russell was asked which coaches he admires today. The question was posed in the context of asking about NBA coaches, with Russell's longtime coach Red Auerbach as an example...

Tom Brady is one tough quarterback

I would like to start with Tom Brady's mental toughness. I will start with his time in Michigan where he challenged Brian Griese for the starting job. Griese got the start as he was the upperclassman.

Quick Rundown: Cardinals vs. Patriots Week 2

The New England Patriots are coming off a 34-13 impressive win last Sunday in Tennessee, but face a decent challenge on Sunday when the Arizona Cardinals visit Gillette Stadium for the first time since December 2008. Although the Patriots defeated Arizona 47-7 during that game, they expect them to give them a challenge during their [...]
