NFL Injury Report:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Green Bay Packers
New England Patriots
San Francisco 49ers
New York Jets
Start Dwayne Bowe vs. DAL. Bowe didn't exactly shine in week 1 but neither did Dallas' secondary. Expect the connection between QB ALex Smith and his No. 1 wide-out to get better as the season goes. In Bowe's only game against Dallas he had 5 reception for 74 yards and a touchdown.Start Harry Douglas vs. STL. Harry seems to be the only healthy receiver in Atlanta right now. You better bet that Mike Smith isn't going to change the game plan because of a few bumps and bruises. Matt Ryan is going to do what Matt Ryan does and this is going to help Douglas' fantasy numbers more than anyone else. I moved Kenbrell Thompkins to my bench this week and grabbed Douglas off the waiver wire to fill is slot at flex 2. I'm expecting 5-6 catches.continued...Start Pierre Garcon vs. GB. While Garcon didn't find the end zone in week 1 he was definitely RGIII's most reliable target. The Packers are going to score. This game will likely turn into a shoot out, or Washington will be playing from behind, both are good news for Garcon. I'd expect 5-7 catches for close to 100 yards and a touchdown or 2 from him this week. If you've got him, start him now before he gets hurt.Start Vincent Jackson vs. NO. Not a player who you really are going to consider sitting, especially against the New Orleans defense. Jackson is going to light up Rob Ryan's secondary. In two games against the Saints last year VJax combined for 13 receptions for 297 yards and a TD.Start James Jones vs. WAS. This is a tough one because of his unexpected goose egg last week. Jones isn't going to start at WR2 this week but if you need a guy to fill in at WR3 or Flex for an injured player I wouldn't hesitate to put in James Jones. Washington's secondary made it obvious last week that they aren't exactly ready to compete at a professional level, and Aaron Rodgers isn't going to let them forget it. I'm guessing Rodgers remembers who his favorite red zone target was a season ago and Jones has 4-5 catches for 50 yards and a score.Start Julian Edelman vs. NYJ. Tom Brady's ball catchers are dropping like flies. Edelman had two scores last week and with Amendola down for the week I can't expect his workload to decrease moving forward. I tried to grab Edelman off of waivers but had a lower position than the team who got him. Edelman is a strong WR2 start this week, I'd expect upwards of 10 catches, over 100 yards and a score.Sit Dez Bryant vs. KC. You probably drafted Bryant in the second round so this is a tough one. He's coming off an injury that Dallas has not been very upfront about. Kansas City's defense was freakishly impressive last week. (I know it was against the Jaguars, but keeping any team out of the end zone is impressive). Bryant's numbers week 1 left a lot to be desired and I honestly don't see him bouncing back the way owners are hoping he will. Bryant makes his money going deep and making athletic grabs, a bummed ankle is the last thing anyone wants to hear. It's going to be a week or 2 before Dez is doing what you drafted him to.Sit T.Y. Hilton vs. MIA. Clearly the No. 3 receiver on the team right now. Not really a viable start unless you're in a deeper format.Sit Anquan Boldin vs. SEA. I am completely aware that Boldin had 200 receiving yards last week against one of the perennial worst defenses in Green Bay. This is a division games, everything is going to be tightened. If Kaepernick tries to air the ball out like he did against the Packers, he's going to find it returned the other direction a few times. A lot of people are going to be upset with Boldin when he doesn't get close to his week one performance.Sit Kenbrell Thompkins vs. NYJ. Targeted 14 times and only came away with 4 catches last week. I'm not giving up on him, yet, but he is going to draw coverage from Antonio Cromartie for most of this game and it's not a matchup that I'm sold on. I'm keeping Kenbrell on my bench until he proves me wrong.Sit Roddy White vs. STL. White has a nagging sprain that doesn't seem to be getting any better. Roddy only had 2 catches in the season opener against division-rival New Orleans. If the Falcons limited Roddy in a division loss, I doubt they are going to push him against the Rams. Here's the perfect situation where you'll want to look at Julian Edelman, or Harry Douglas. For more questions on who to start, hit me up on Twitter @NFLMind

Although Roddy White played last Sunday despite a high ankle sprain, he obviously need some rest as he understandably was absent from the Atlanta Falcons Wednesday practice. What was unexpected was fellow receiver Julio Jones' absence.
Roddy White has been listed as questionable on the Falcons official injury report.
The good news is that Atlanta head coach Mike Smith has already said that White will play this week against the Rams
.@Roddywhitetv returned to practice today and was limited. He's listed as questionable for the game. Coach Smith said he would play.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced a preliminary $14.5 million agreement Friday under which officials would acquire the site of the historic Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
The Georgia World Congress Center Authority would pay $6.2 million. The Atlanta Falcons...
Earlier this week we looked at the Falcons and how they fared on third down in the season opening loss to the Saints. Spoiler Alert: it wasn't pretty. Another thing that I noticed as the game unfolded was that the Falcons were quite unbalanced on first down plays.
Let's break it down into quarters and see how the Falcons were at mixing it up on the all important...
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. Steven Jackson revealed an introspective and even sensitive side on Wednesday, as he talked about Sunday's looming matchup with the Rams, his first and only NFL team from 2004-12.
That might, at first, seem surprising for a figure of Jackson's chiseled physical stature (6-foot-2, 240). But the three-time Pro Bowler also possesses an artistic side, which...
Falcons wideout Roddy White (ankle) sat out another practice on Friday.Fantasy Spin:White has a high-ankle sprain and likely will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Rams. White tweeted this advice to fantasy owners after Week 1: "As far as fantasy if I don't participate in practice than don't start me it's a red flag." Take his advice and bench him.
So far, so good on my pick of the Falcons missing the playoffs. They’d make it in the AFC, but the NFC is so loaded and the Falcons schedule is so much tougher than it was last season. Add in that they have less talent and they’re unlikely to continue recovering a high percentage of fumbles that hit the ground and dominating the turnover battle like they did last season and I...
Falcons wideout Roddy White (ankle) sat out of practice again Thursday.Fantasy Spin:White has a high-ankle sprain and likely will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Rams. White tweeted this advice to fantasy owners after Week 1: "As far as fantasy if I don't participate in practice than don't start me it's a red flag." Take his advice and bench him.
We reported yesterday that Roddy White’s ankle was not quite at 100% and that his presence in Sunday’s 23-17 loss against the Saints was merely as a decoy. With the fear that White may miss more time in the season, the Falcons have worked out veterans Lavelle Hawkins, Mohamed Massaquoi and Courtney Roby according to multiple reports.According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution...
ST. LOUIS -- Don't let all the happy talk fool you.
As cordially and professionally as Steven Jackson and his old team are talking about each other this week, you can be sure there's some resentment buried beneath all the platitudes.
How could there not be on Jackson's side? He gave the Rams nine strong years and became the franchise's all-time leading rusher...
An ebullient Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed confirmed Friday that offers are in place to purchase both churches that must move for the new $1 billion Atlanta Falcons stadium to be built on his preferred site.
Reed confirmed at a press conference today that Mount Vernon Baptist Church leaders have tentatively agreed to drop their asking price to $14.5 million down from their original $20...
ST. LOUIS -- Steven Jackson left the Rams on good terms says his old coach. Steven Jackson has fit in great with the Falcons says his new coach. Steven Jackson still is one of the top running backs in the NFL says former teammate Chris Long. Steven Jackson should be a Hall of Famer says former teammate James Laurinaitis.
With so much talk about Steven Jackson this and Steven Jackson...
Falcons wideout Roddy White (ankle) missed Wednesday's practice.Fantasy Spin:White has a high-ankle sprain and likely will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Rams. If he does play, fantasy owners should avoid him. He had just two catches in the opener while Harry Douglas stepped up with four catches for 93 yards.
With Roddy White’s 129-game streak already in jeopardy, the Falcons may have more problems to deal with. Wide receiver Julio Jones joined White on the sidelines at practice on Wednesday with a knee injury according to Mike Florio. Earlier today we had reported that the Falcons had veteran receivers Lavelle Hawkins, Mohamed Massaquoi and Courtney Roby in for a tryout. ...
