St. Louis Rams @ Chicago BearsSt. Louis Rams: The Rams come off a surprising win against RGIII and the Washington Redskins last week, proving from top to bottom the NFC West needs to be taken a little more seriously now. Sam Bradford had a good afternoon against a suspect Redskins secondary, going for 300 and 3 much to most everyone’s surprise. He’ll find things quite a bit tougher against a Bears secondary that just plain doesn’t give up the points to QBs; so far, they’ve faced Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers, and have given up a total an average of around 260 yards, one touchdown versus a couple of picks.Of course, you can’t talk Rams without mentioning the ridiculousness of Danny Amendola’s afternoon. The guy caught 15 passes for 160 yards and a score. Seriously? If you had him in a PPR league, I’m guessing you won. Now, he likely won’t get to that point, maybe only half, but still that makes him very worthwhile.Jeff Fisher will likely try to run the ball with the same effec...

Steven Jackson left the game and did not return last week against the Redskins for reasons many thought were related to a penalty. However, the Rams denied that was the reason and denied a benching at all saying Jackson left the game with a groin injury. Almost a week later, that appears to be true and Jackson is reportedly going to be a game time decision. The good news for his...
ST. LOUIS (AP) Steven Jackson's status is day to day after the nine-year veteran sat out his second consecutive practice Thursday with a groin injury.
The same problem forced him to miss most of St. Louis' 31-28 victory over Washington on Sunday and he is a game-time decision for Sunday's game at Chicago.
"I've played with worse injuries before," Jackson...
St. Louis running back Steven Jackson (groin) is a game-time decision for Sunday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.Fantasy Spin:The running back will be evaluated during pre-game warmups before the team makes a final decision. The Rams play at 1 p.m. ET so we'll know soon whether Jackson will be active. If Daryl Richardson starts fantasy owners should get the rookie in their...
Steven Jackson To RG3: This Isn’t The Big 12 -
We told you on Thursday that Robert Griffin III was not a fan of the “dirty extracurriculars” and the “unprofessional” late hits from the St. Louis Rams in Week 2. “It was weird,” the Washington Redskins quarterback said. “… People want to hit me because they don’t think I can take a hit.” On Thursday, Rams RB Steven...
This is from John Keim:
"OK, I’m tired of talking about the Rams’ game too. But a couple more things. One reason rookie corner Richard Crawford had success vs. Danny Amendola on the two times he faced him? He’s covered him already. As Crawford prepared at SMU for an all-star game last year, Amendola happened to be on campus and was working out. Crawford was asked...
For two weeks, Paul Boudreau and Brian Schottenheimer had tag-teamed to work around a hobbled offensive line, giving Sam Bradford plenty of quick-passing opportunities, a few well-timed deep balls, and a creative deployment of the run game. However, they faced a team with a legitimate combination of up-front pressure and backfield coverage in the Chicago Bears, and the combination...
St. Louis running back Steven Jackson is dealing with a groin injury and missed practice on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but coach Jeff Fisher has said he didn;t need to practice during the week to play on Sunday.Fantasy Spin:The running back will be a game-time decision Sunday. Grabbing backup Daryl Richardson is a good idea off his impressive nine-carry, 58-yard effort.
St. Louis Rams (1-1) at Chicago Bears (1-1)
In 2010, I consistently ranked the Bears lower than most and lower than their record would have suggested because I simply didn’t trust the combination of Jay Cutler, that offensive line, and Mike Martz to consistently win 3 or 4 games in a row against playoff caliber teams, so I didn’t like their Super Bowl chances. This year, I thought...

It wasn’t but a week ago that I went all in and played nice with Sam Bradford, and then he comes out and drops this game on me? Really Sam, I need to continue to call you out week after week?
On the other side you have my Super Bowl winners who look like, well they are good enough to beat teams like the Rams.
This game wasn’t pretty in any way shape or form, but it got the results...
Major Wright’s 45-yard interception return for touchdown, coupled with six sacks of St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford, provided the storyline in the Chicago Bears 23-6 win over the Rams at sunny, but chilly Soldier Field Sunday afternoon. The Bears improve to 2-1 on the season, while St. Louis dips to 1-2. In an otherwise lackluster affair, the Bears defense kept Bradford and [...]
