Chicago: The Bears managed to squeak by the Carolina Panthers last week on the strength of a last minute Robbie Gould field goal.While they got the win, it wasn’t pretty and the offense really did not put on a good show against one of the worst defenses in the league. Now the Bears go on the road to face the Titans, another defense that should give about as much resistance as wet toilet paper; but every game is an adventure with Jay Cutler at the helm.The Titans rank 29th in the league in pass defense, so this should be a game that Cutler can do well in. Unfortunately the Bears rank a dismal 30th in pass offense, with only the “we don’t want to pass” Seahawks and the “we can’t pass even if we wanted to” Jaguars behind them. But with the way the Bears' defense is crushing opposing offenses, Cutler really hasn’t had to do much, and he likely won’t have to here. So what I’m saying is don’t look for great numbers if you’re using Cutler as a bye week filler.The Titans are almost as bad against the run (25th) so expect good things from Matt Forte. Forte will likely get his second rushing TD in a row and clear over 100 total yards. Michael Bush may also get in the act with a short-yardage TD if you’re desperate.Good Start: RB Matt Forte, WR Brandon MarshallMiddle of the Road: QB Jay Cutler, RB Michael BushBad Start: WR Earl Bennett, WR Devin Hester, TE Kellen Davis Tennessee: The Titans actually played pretty decent defense last week against the Colts, but in the end it was the flying Vick Ballard circus that did them in on a pylon dive in OT. Seriously if you haven’t seen it, go YouTube it. Now instead of the pass-happy Colts, the Titans get the punch-you-in-the-mouth-and-take-your-milk-money Bears, which means probably mediocre numbers at best from the Titans' offensive players.Matt Hasselbeck gets at least one more start for the Titans, as I’m sure the Titans brass didn’t want Jake Locker’s first game back to be against the crushing Bears' defense. Wise move. Kendall Wright has become a favorite short yardage and chain mover target, and he’ll probably still post enough catches to have a worthwhile fantasy day.Yes, I know Chris Johnson had back to back good games. But c’mon, that was against the Bills and Colts. With the Bears in town, if you have any other options that are actually breathing, you may want to consider them.Good Start: NoneMiddle of the Road: WR Kendall Wright, WR Kenny BrittBad Start: QB Matt Hasselbeck, RB Chris Johnson, TE Jared Cook
