Here are 15 whimsical factoids some positive, some negative to digest before the SundayMonday slate of Week 1 games: 1. Of his last three road openers, Eagles tailback LeSean McCoy has averaged 134 total yards and 1.7 touchdowns. 2. Last year, Drew Brees became the first QB in history to pass for 5,000 yards in consecutive seasons. In that span, he also accounted for 91 total touchdowns. For good measure, the Saints star has averaged 315 yards passing and 3.2 TDs in his last five home openers. 3. Of DeAngelo Williams' last five games of 15 or more touches, covering the 2011-12 seasons, the Panthers tailback has averaged 120 total yards1.4 TDs per outing. 4. Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown scored a touchdown in his final four games last year. But the presumption of sizable Week 1 numbers goes beyond that: Of Ben Roethlisberger's last three games against the Titans, he has averaged 318 yards passing and 2.3 touchdowns. 5. Excluding any meaningless Week 17 games where starters logged non-essential reps, Vikings tailback Adrian Peterson has a nine-game streak of either 100 total yards or one touchdown against the Lions. 6. You can set your watch to Aaron Rodgers posting strong fantasy numbers against the typically stout 49ers. Against his childhood team, Rodgers a Chico, Calif. native boasts per-outing averages of 301 yards passing and 2.3 TDs. 7. Speaking of consistency, Jags tailback Maurice Jones-Drew has scored a TD in each of his four games against the Chiefs (total-yard average: 107). And for his previous four home openers (2009-12), MJD has averaged 90 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns. 8. For the 2010-11 seasons, a healthy Hakeem Nicks averaged seven catches, 107 yards and 0.8 TDs against Dallas. 9. In his last four home openers, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a grand total of two touchdown passes. 10. There's a good newsbad news proposition with Chris Johnson this week: Of his last four games against AFC North foes, he's a perfect 4 for 4 in racking up 100 total yards or one touchdown. On the flip side, he has averaged only 74 total yards and 0.4 TDs in five career games against the Steelers. 11. Of his last six outings against the Bills, Patriots QB Tom Brady has averaged 282 yards passing and 3.2 touchdowns. And in that span, he eclipsed 35 passes four times. 12. Lions QB Matthew Stafford has been a feast-or-famine fantasy pick in seasonal home debuts. In 2009 and '12, he tallied only one touchdown pass. For 2010 and '11, he accounted for an Al Bundy game of four touchdowns both times. 13. In the Joe Haden era (2010-12), wide receiver Mike Wallace has not caught more than four balls in a single outing against the Browns. In that span, he averaged only 5.6 targets per game against Cleveland. 14. This news bodes well for Tampa Bay's Doug Martin and Indy tailback Ahmad Bradshaw: The Jets and Raiders surrendered 150-plus team rushing yards five and seven times last year, respectively. And last but not least ... 15. Calvin Johnson, who has five 200-yard games over the last 20 months, was tackled at the 1-yard line six times last year. That suggests double-digit touchdowns in 2013. Let's have some perspective for Week 1, though: Against the Vikings, Calvin has modest career numbers of six catches, 84 yards and 0.7 TDs per outing.
