Found August 16, 2013 on Eagles Faithful:
For this week’s Faulty Friday Photoshop, I took inspiration from yesterday’s preseason opponent, the Carolina Panthers. I tried to put QB Cam Newton onto Brian Fantana (he of Sex Panther cologne infamy) and his glorious flowing locks, but it didn’t quite work out. Didn’t this guy kill Josh Brolin in a Cohen Brothers movie? So we got Fantana’s mustache on Cam Newton instead. Yup. Personally, I think that he’d fit right in on the Channel 4 News Team. Or perhaps piloting the Millennium Falcon. Also, not only do we have a Panther connection, but Fantana’s tremendous quote, “60% of the time, it works every time,” could just as well apply to completion percentage. Maybe the rest of this series should just be photoshops of absurd facial hair on your favorite Iggles. Or Koy Detmer’s neck beard on celebrities. I need help. Things looking up for Eagles...

It's not so much the Eagles won a preseason game against the Carolina Panthers, 14-9, but that all phases of the Birds' roster packages seem to have cleaned up a lot of lingering problems. We saw improvement across the board--- offense (especially quarterback and line play), defense and special teams. Vick was nearly flawless, Foles looked sharp and each player...
