The RBI raided property owned in Indiana by former NFL player Jason Fabini and his brother, but Fabini said Friday that he's the subject of an investigation. The raid apparently was part of probe into the activities of Fabini's brother, Michael. "I have cooperated fully with authorities, and will continue to do so," Fabini said in a statement published by the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette. "I have not been charged, nor do I expect to be charged with a crime. I expect the community will have many questions as rumors circulate and this investigation continues, but I ask that we trust in the authorities to do their job." The FBI raid also included the home of Michael Fabini, the Journal Gazette reported. It acknowledged an investigation involving the Safe Streets Task Force, which deals with illegal drugs and violent crimes, but offered no details. Local news media witnessed officers carrying items out of Michael Fabini's home in an upscale Fort Wayne subdivision throughout Thursday. The Journal Gazette reported that expansions to the home in recent years included more than 3,500 square feet in the basement area, where there were multiple rooms and tunnels. The property also had numerous surveillance cameras. Jason Fabini played offensive line for the New York Jets, Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys from 1998 to 2008.
