Ravens Nation has filled the city streets today, to jubilantly welcome home their victorious Super Bowl team. As in most cases when teams parade the Lombardi Trophy, the happy team is carried high through the streets, as thousands upon thousands of fans line the roads. It's never too cold when your team has just won the big prize. So as the speeches are made and the players lap up the plaudits and celebrations, it won't be too long before the coaching staff get back into their offices and start plotting next season's title defense. It won't be easy, as defending champion there is a massive target on your jersey. So lets look at the five reasons why the Baltimore Ravens will not repeat this year's huge achievement.

  • You can always speculate as a writer of you OWN opinion, but it would be best to have accurate stats. Anyone thinking Baltimore can make a great run next season, needs to think again. Losing Ray Lewis will not have any impact on a great team. Baltimore had Todd Heap a great reciever and let him go and let some other greats go, but went on the win the Super Bowl. No one and I mean no one knows who they will get in the draft picks, but remember this. Last year Baltimore was #37 pick and got Pierce. Super player. You can always post your opinion, but that is all it is. Next season will tell, I would say, around the middle of October. After all, you are just an author in here and want to be able to say, "I told you so."
