The past three years, the Steeler's offensive line's play has been well…offensive. They have not struggled with inconsistency—they have been consistently horrible. So, to fix the problem the Steelers signed several players in free agency and used their top pick on a o-lineman. Oh, I’m sorry, what I meant to say was that they signed no free agents and drafted guard Kraig Urbik. While Urbik is a good prospect, he is probably not a Day 1 starter. This means that Big Ben will be playing behind guys that were on the roster last season. Now I don’t think it is fair to but all the blame on the lineman. Big Ben gets some of the blame for holding on to the backs longer than he should. This is negated however by the number of sacks that Ben avoids, which might very well be higher than the number he is responsible for.
