The Detroit Lions have signed a veteran corner back to their roster.

The Lions agreed to terms with corner back Drayton Florence. The team has not officially made the announcement yet.

He was released by the Denver Broncos on Friday. On Sunday, he tweeted “A setback is nothing but a setup for a comeback < Detroit Lions > let’s get ready for St. Louis.”

He signed a two-year contract with the Broncos in May. He played in all 16 games with the Buffalo Bills last season, where he made 50 tackles and three interceptions.

He has played for the San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Bills in his career. He has played in a 135 games, where he has 441 tackles and 17 interceptions.
