For at least one day, Atlantis will no longer be regarded as America's most popular fictitious city. Per John Breech of CBSSports.com, the mayor of Treasure Island, Fla., Bob Minning, announced that the city will officially be renamed to "Revis Island" on Thursday, Sept. 12. The honor, of course, is meant for Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis, who represents "an island filled with interceptions, touchdown returns and batted passes." "I'm honored and humbled to receive this special honor from the City of Treasure Island," Revis told the Buccaneers' official website.
