The Eagles lost Nick Foles to a concussion versus the Dallas Cowboys, but that was the least of the injuries in and around the NFL.
During Chip Kelly’s press conference, he noted that Foles was looking better, but his status was unknown for Sunday.

BEST OF MAXIM
Nick Foles has a concussion and Michael Vick is still recovering from a hamstring injury, leaving the Philadelphia Eagles uncertain of a starting quarterback next week.
Foles was injured when he was sacked by George Selvie and Jarius Wynn on the final play of the third quarter in a 17-3 loss to Dallas on Sunday. Foles struggled against the Cowboys, completing just 11 of 29 for 80...
With Nick Foles suffering a concussion Sunday and Michael Vick's status still unknown, Chip Kelly has yet to name a starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Giants.
As if it wasn't apparent enough Sunday after Nick Foles left the game late in the third quarter with a head injury, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly revealed Monday that the quarterback...
The Philadelphia Eagles cannot catch a break. Not too long ago they were thought of as one of the top-teams in the NFL, having assembled the three-headed monster. A few quick seasons later they are looking at a team that is horrid on defense and can’t keep a quarterback healthy.
Nick Foles, who struggled for most of the day going 11-for-29 for 80 yards and 0 touchdowns on the day...
Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles left Sunday’s Week 7 game against the Cowboys in the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a head injury and will not return.
Foles was filling in for an injured Michael Vick.
On a red-zone play, Foles held the ball way too long and got slammed to the turf by George Selvie. He got up slow and then was escorted to the locker room to be checked for...
In today's Eagles-Cowboys game, the woeful Eagles' defense clearly played their best game of the year. They kept up some good work against the run, got off the field on third down, achieved some success in rushing the passer, had a game-changing interception when the team needed it the most, and held an explosive offense to 17 points despite being put, time...
Sunday was Chip Kelly's lowest offensive output as a head coach. He and his offensive skill players did Nick Foles no favors amid the quarterback's worst performance as a professional.
Perhaps the most suprising and disappointing moments from Chip Kelly's first NFL sojourn as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles took place at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday.
When Michael Vick was ruled inactive before Sunday's Week 6 game against the Cowboys it was notable that Nick Foles' only "real" backup was Matt Barkley. Now that Foles has been ruled out with a head injury it's really notable.
Barkley's first drive under center didn't go so hot as the former USC standout threw a pick (and got lucky not to throw one...

Philadelphia sports fans like to overreact. We all know this. When anything in sports happens, there is instant and intense reaction from the fans of the city. Now that all the dust has settled from the Eagles 17-3 loss, it is fair to analyze the game.
In this case, the fans were right.
After missing this past Sunday’s game with a strained hamstring, Michael Vick has been named starter for this Sunday’s contest against the New York Giants. In related news, the man who replaced Vick as starting QB, Nick Foles, had to leave Sunday’s game with a concussion. Foles will have to pass all concussion testing in order to return to the field, but it appears he will...
The Cowboys and Eagles have been two of the most prolific first-half scoring teams in the NFL, so of course they combined for a lousy three points in the first 30 minutes Sunday. But the Cowboys finally found an offensive rhythm and were able to pull away from the Eagles in a 17-3 win.
You can call it Monte Kiffin's revengeor Nick Foles' pants-ing. The Eagles' backup...
Sunday was not Nick Foles’ day. Photo via the Philadelphia Eagles.
Whatever Nick Foles had for breakfast on Sunday, he shouldn’t plan to have ever again on a game day.
In the absence of any other explanation for his awful performance at the Linc against the Cowboys, let’s just go ahead and blame it on the Wheaties. Foles wasn’t available following the game to discuss what...
No one was more pleased with the struggles of Eagles QB Nick Foles against Dallas than Michael Vick's brother, Marcus. He mocked him on Twitter, because he's all class.
Before the Philadelphia Eagles took the field at home Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys there was hoopla and a bright outlook as the possibilities seemed endless with Nick Foles at the helm of Chip Kelly’s offense.
Now that Foles chucked up a dud – and left the game early with a concussion – all eyes are peeled towards the Eagles’ injury report to see if Michael Vick (hamstring...
The Dallas Cowboys went into the City of Brotherly Love and seized first place of the NFC East in a dominant win over the Eagles, 17-3.
Philly’s woes at home continue; the team has not won a game at the Linc since September 30th in 2012 (that’s a nine game losing streak for those of you counting at home). Monte Kiffin’s defense completely shut down the hurry-up Eagles, becoming...
Well, that was just ugly.
There have been times this season when the Eagles looked bad, but yesterdays loss to the Dallas Cowboys was pure ugly.
The offense had no consistency and Nick Foles looked out of place. Monte Kiffin’s defense made Chip Kelly look foolish, as the Eagles stuck their tail between their legs and took a butt-whipping.
Let’s get to the recap.
