The Oakland Raiders will be without wide receiver Jacoby Ford for the rest of this season.
Ford has been placed on season-ending injured reserve. He had surgery on Wednesday to repair a Lisfranc injury in his left foot.
On Thursday, just one day after surgery, first-year Raiders head coach Dennis Allen hinted that Ford’s season could be over. Now, two days later, it has become official.
Unfortunately for Ford, he suffered the same injury last year, as well. These Lisfranc injuries have hampered his development.
Undrafted rookie Rod Streater will continue to have a large role for the Raiders offense this season.
