Former Colts running backs coach Gene Huey, who has been offered the same position with the Vikings, said Wednesday he has not yet made a decision about the job and still plans to talk with coach Leslie Frazier.

"I'd prefer anything on this matter to come from Leslie," Huey said.

The Colts released Huey this week after 19 years of service and success coaching four different 1,000-yard backs -- Marshall Faulk, Edgerrin James, Dominic Rhodes and Joseph Addai.
But as injuries mounted last season, the Colts finished 29th in the league with 92.7 yards per game.

Frazier and Huey coached together under Tony Dungy at Indianapolis.

In other coaching news, Falcons quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave has not yet been spotted at the Vikings' Winter Park facility. Musgrave is expected to interview for the Vikings' offensive coordinator position, but NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reports that the Browns are the favorite for Musgrave's services. ...
