Former Eagles CB Ellis Hobbs Debuts His Acting Skills in “The Last Fall”

I’m such a sap for movies with a football-related story line. ‘The Last Fall’ is written and directed by Matthew A. Cherry, a former NFL wide receiver that played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens. He retired in 2007 and moved to LA to pursue a career in entertainment. It’s an independent sports drama film about the difficulties many professional athletes face when forced to retire at an early age and transition into a life beyond sports. The film features an appearance by former Eagles Ellis Hobbs, Lance Gross, Nicole Beharie, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Michael Moss, Obba Babatunde, Darrin Dewitt Henson and more.
