The New York Giants spent their Saturday night losing a preseason game to the New York Jets 24-21. However, it was a former player that was making headlines after the game.
Former Giant linebacker Keith Bulluck found himself in some trouble early Sunday morning when he got arrested and charged for robbery. He allegedly robbed a cab driver of $100 after he had a disagreement with the cabby.
According to Giants 101, Bulluck also allegedly assaulted the cab driver around 2:30 am. He was arrested at about 4:30 am and was released early this morning after posting bond.
Bulluck spent one year with the Giants, the final of his career in 2010 playing in 13 games and recording two interceptions.
The police report indicates that Bulluck was “very intoxicated” at the time of the arrest, but no other information has been given at this time. When more information becomes available, the New York Sports-Kings will keep you posted.
