If you thought college football expansion was a dead topic in the offseason, you are right. But apparently Florida State had a nice run in the Southeastern Conference championship game last season. Confused? Thought that was Alabama over Georgia? Yes, so was Florida State's right tackle last season, Menelik Watson. Watson took a photo of his 2012 ACC championship ring, something every player received for the December win over Georgia Tech in Charlotte, N.C. Only Watson's ring clearly says "SEC." Watson is now preparing for his first season with the Oakland Raiders and presumably got his ring in the mail recently. Other current and former players have posted comments about their rings on Twitter, but all of theirs said "ACC." About an hour after Watson's tweet on Wednesday, FSU's official Twitter feed said, "The ring @MenelikWatson71 received seems to be an isolated mistake by the company. He will get a replacement."
