Jim Reineking of NFL.com posted a photo essay on Wednesday of his top 20 free-agent signings in NFL history. I was a little hesitant to even flip through it for fear that he would not include Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Farrior in his list. Surprisingly, he did. Reineking ranked Farrior 14th overall, which is more than fair, in my opinion. Five-time Pro Bowl linebacker James Harrison wants to stay with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He'd also prefer not to take a pay cut. It's not earth shaking news by any means, but I wanted to pass along the Twitter report by Grant Muessel of Huskers Illustrated Magazine that stated the Pittsburgh Steelers had scouts at the Nebraska pro day on Thursday. Muessel reported that the Steelers scouts were there to see the defensive backs and that they spent a good amount of time drilling and talking with safeties...
