The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants absolutely dominated the New York Jets last night at Metlife Stadium by the score of 26-3. However with all the good things that we saw out of the Giants last night, there were a few injuries on the Giants that were definitely a cause of some concern.

In the first quarter of last night’s game, running back Ahmad Bradshaw left the game with a hand injury. it was determined later on that Bradshaw actually popped a cyst on his right hand after hitting a helmet. the Giants No.1 running back later told reporters ” I had a cyst on it before, It’s nothing serious. It’s just a precaution.” He also stated that he has had that cyst for a while and it feels fine. There were x-rays taken of the hand as well and they all turned out to be negative. The Giants can’t afford to lose Bradshaw for any large amount of time as he is the Giants most experienced and productive running back.

Giants third-round pick, Jayron Hosley was seen wearing a protective walking boot on his right foot after the game. The up and coming rookie cornerback had a 77-yard interception touchdown return off Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez in the second quarter. Hosley will be undergoing some more tests during the day today. We will update you on more once we find out the results of those tests. Hosley told reporters after the game “Something didn’t feel right. So I just took the right precautions and talked to the right people. So we’ll see.”

The injury to Hosely was not the only defensive player for that the Giants that suffered an injury last night. In the third quarter Middle linebacker, Mark Herzlich suffered a hip pointer and had to leave the game. Also leaving the game in the third quarter was Giants backup defensive end, Adrian Tracy who seemed to suffer a hamstring injury. Both the injuries to Herzlich and Tracy seemed to be minor based on comments by head coach, Tom Coughlin as well as Herzlich and Tracy themselves.

We will keep you updated on these injuries as reports come in.

Pizzeria cooks up Tebow birthday pizza

Tim Tebow's 25th birthday was, well, very much publicized. Anyone who turned on the TV this past Tuesday, particularly ESPN, found that out, as the Jets quarterback was the subject of plenty of discussion. Then again, that's not exactly a diversion from the norm. What is somewhat unique, however, is how one Alabama pizzeria decided to mark the occasion. Joe Carlucci, owner...

Jason Pierre-Paul throws teammate Prince Amukamara into a cold tub (PIC & VIDEO)

We re-tweeted a link to this video, which was posted to Twitter by Giants punter Steve Weatherford yesterday … but after re-watching it a few more times, we decided it deserved its own post. The clip shows Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul carrying teammate CB Prince Amukamara over his shoulder down a hallway, and tossing him into a cold tub. At the beginning of the video, JPP is surrounded...

Jason Pierre-Paul tosses Prince Amukamara into the cold tub

New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford took a video of defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul carrying cornerback Prince Amukamara to the cold tub and tossing him in. I wonder what caused JPP to toss the Prince in the cold tub. And I wonder what Giants head coach Tom Coughlin thinks of this.

New York Jets: Offensive Pre-Season From Hell Continues

I am going to treat this article like a compliment sandwich, starting and ending with something positive about the New York Jets with all the criticism in-between. So basically everything on this team besides the offense will be the bread and the offense will be the steaming pile of crap in-between those slices of bread. The New York Jets have a very good defense. It won’t be...

Jason Pierre-Paul dumped Prince Amukamara into an ice tub for reasons unknown

Stuff like this happens all the time in NFL locker rooms, only it’s called hazing, and it’s usually rookies on the receiving end of pranks perpetrated by team veterans.  So it’s a little odd to see second year DB Prince Amukamara get carried down a hallway hulking 6-foot-5, 280 pound DE Jason Pierre-Paul, and it’s even odder seeing Amukamara’s reaction to getting tossed...

Jason Pierre-Paul/Prince Amukamara's Cold Tub Video Could Land Them In Hot Water

It was a prank Jason Pierre-Paul had waiting for fellow N.Y. Giants teammate Prince Amukamara, as Paul dumped Amukamara into a tub filled with cold water. The prank could land the two men in some hot water with their head coach Tom Coughlin. N.Y. Daily News is reporting that Coughlin is disappointed that the video was released, which went viral shortly afterwards after fellow punter...

PHOTO: Corey Webster tweets photo of Rueben Randle taped up in cold tub

@IAMcweb Last Monday, New York Giants cornerback Corey Webster tweeted a photo of rookie wide receiver Rueben Randle taped up in a cold tub. Sorry @ruebenrandle!! @lsu Love… lockerz.com/s/234352892 — Corey Webster (@IAMCweb) August 13, 2012 I got a feeling after this picture of Randle and the recent video of Prince Amukamara getting thrown into a cold tub, the Giants will be...

The Bright Spot On a Dark Night

MetLife Stadium: Think positive won't you?Forget Mark Sanchez interception returned for a touchdown.  Make believe Wayne Hunter isn't the Jets right tackle.  Stop talking about how Tim Tebow led the team to three points against the Giants second team defense. The usually radiant Rex Ryan was dreary at the podium tonight, saying, "You can say there were some positive...

Giants P Steve Weatherford Apologizes For Posting Hazing Video

Giants punter Steve Weatherford has issued an apology via Twitter for posting a video online of Jason Pierre-Paul rather violently dunking teammate Prince Amukamara into a cold tub. "I want to apologize to the fans... The video I posted was distasteful. Our team is a family, and we love each other. I am sorry to the fan," wrote Weatherford on Twitter Sunday evening. Earlier...

People Are Really Freaking Out About This New York Giants ‘Hazing’ Video

It's grainy because it's so scandalous. When I saw a bunch of people Tweeting about New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford this morning, my first thought was, “Sloooooooooooow news day.” Or maybe he was abducted by intergalactic talking raccoons, in which case, awesome! And now that I know why people are buzzing about him, I think he’d probably prefer that some spaceships...

Giants WR Nicks returns to practice

Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks practiced Monday for the first time since suffering a broken foot during the team's offseason program on May 24. "Big day," said Nicks, who returned to individual work last week. "My mind is saying, 'Take it easy, but at the same time still be smart about it.' Still want to be on pace to make it back for the first (regular...

New York Giants: 4 Things to Watch for vs. the New York Jets

The New York Giants and New York Jets clash in what is always an exciting preseason matchup filled with highlight-reel grabs and breakout performances. Two years again, Victor Cruz caught everyone’s eye and presented everyone with a wonderful preview of what was to come for him the following season. Could someone do the same this season for either team? There will be much to watch...

Amukamara not likely to play vs. Dallas

New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara probably will miss the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys because of a high ankle sprain. In discussing his team's health heading into the NFL kickoff Wednesday, coach Tom Coughlin said it doesn't look as if Amukamara will be ready for the game. Rookie cornerback Jayron Hosley is going to try to test his turf toe. Coughlin...

Joe Namath doesn't want Tim Tebow to succeed

Joe Namath is one of the most controversial characters in the history of the NFL. He kept that going tonight with this tweet as Tim Tebow got ready to take the field against the New York Giants. TEBO.TEBO'TEBO',,,,,,,,,,,just Kiddin — Joe Namath (@RealJoeNamath) August 19, 2012 Mark Sanchez had an interesting night against the Giants. The Jets weren...

No 'Slam Dunk' OT Wayne Hunter Is Jets' Starter

In May, New York Jets offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo gave a rather graphic seal of approval on right tackle Wayne Hunter. "This guy is the starting right tackle," DeGuglielmo said, according to Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger. "Until they tell me otherwise, until they ship him out of this building or until they shoot me dead in my office, that son-of-a-gun...
