Free agent CB Jabari Greer recently mentioned that he is not actively pursuing opportunities with NFL teams and would prefer to wait until he’s 100 percent recovered from his season-ending knee injury. “I think right now today, I’m very content with where I am,” Greer said, via ESPN.com. “But in the future, I’m sure that itch is gonna come, because it does for everybody. I guess it just depends if I decide to scratch it or not.“ Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reported a few weeks ago that Greer was among the cornerbacks the Ravens were considering, but it appears as though his knee injury factored into his willingness to tryout for them. “Because in this league, as you know, it’s a production business,” Greer said. “And they don’t care if you’re 85 or 90 percent. If you can’t produce or perform, you just make yourself look bad. In the essence of self-preservation, I would reserve until I got 100 percent.” Greer, 32, was cut loose by New Orleans back in February and has found almost no interest on the open market. He totaled 30 tackles, one interception and 12 passes defensed over the course of 10 games this season. We have Greer listed as the No. 10 player in our recently updated Best Available Free Agents list.
