One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. In the case of fantasy football bye weeks, that trash is collected and flexed into our starting lineups. Week 5 is just the beginning of a long stretch that will test our depth. Separating the players that will see the benefit of garbage time points from those that just recycle the same old stat lines becomes an imperative exercise in the hefty quest of a playoff appearance. This is not an application of efficiency, nor is it a shelter of assurance. It is simply a reminder that when you have a coin-flip roster decision, don’t ignore opportunity—even if it disguises itself in the face of a blowout.

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin is expected to miss second day of practice on Thursday as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury.
There was some belief earlier in the week that Austin might be able to play this week. His availability will certainly depend on if he practices on Friday.
