New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes has been named the NFC special teams player of the month for October.
Tynes led the NFL with 13 field goals and 51 points in the Giants' 4-0 month of October. Tynes was responsible for at least nine points and two field goals in each game throughout the second month of the 2012 campaign.
