Tom Coughlin confirmed Andre Brown was diagnosed with a concussion on his kick return with 10:03 remaining in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Browns.

Brown tweeted during the game that "Everything is ok," which has since been deleted from his account, but he will need to pass the league's mandated concussion protocol to return to the field. It is against league rules to use social media from 90 minutes prior to a game until after meeting with media postgame.

While Brown may miss time, the Giants will welcome another player back from a concussion. Ramses Barden was cleared to practice after he suffered a concussion at the end of the Giants' 19-17 loss to the Eagles and missed Sunday's game.

"He was in the meetings today and when I had an opportunity to visit with him he was bright-eyed and very excited to be back, smiling," Coughlin said.

Tom Coughlin troubled by Giants’ defense: “We’re battling through it just like everyone else”

Tom Coughlin is an old school guy, but he knows that you have to adjust constantly. He’s famous for his rigid regimes and eye for detail. Nobody has been better than the Giants in rushing the passer; in fact it’s the Giants defense calling card. Coughlin’s 3-2 Giants squad seems to have a habit of coming out the gate slow, but burn up the post season. However, Coughlin still...
