New York was already thin at running back and now the Giants will be without Da'Rel Scott. Da'Rel Scott is expected to miss a few weeks after the Giants' running back strained his hamstring on Thursday according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Scott suffered the injury during the fourth quarter against Chicago. He was New York's No. 2 running back against the Bears with starter David Wilson out with a neck injury. According to a report on Friday Wilson may have spinal stenosis which could cause him to miss the rest of the season. Now with Scott expected to miss multiple weeks the Giants' running back depth will be tested even further. Brandon Jacobs started on Thursday and rookie Michael Cox will likely be elevated into the backup role. Andre Brown is working his way back from a broken leg and would be eligible to return in Week 10.
