Sportsgirl attended a discussion yesterday led by sports journalist Jeremy Schaap with New York Giants receivers Hakeem Nicks and Rueben Randle.  The pair fielded questions from Schaap and an audience of all ages.  Here are some highlights: Nicks’ hands made every man in the room jealous…(even the little boys who, at this age, only hope to be NFL wide receivers).  The duo idolize Michael Jordan, even though they are barely old enough to remember MJ’s playing days. Regardless of the critics, they still believe Eli Manning is an “elite” quarterback.  (Yet, maybe we should ask that again on a day when they are not pleading with Eli to throw them the ball.) Giants Head Coach, Tom Coughlin, does nothing fun…he even locks himself up to study film in his free time. Nicks will improve his fantasy football numbers….because he can’t stand getting reamed out at his local pub by someone who drafted him in their league. Randle feels super lucky to have his job and really treats his NFL pla...

Justin Tuck Says Giants Were 'Too Confident' Before Losing Streak

Less than three weeks ago, the Giants still looked like a team ready to repeat, so two straight losses weren’t going to shake the confidence of the defending Super Bowl champions. A lack of confidence is something Justin Tuck said he believes won’t ever be an issue for the Giants, but at times this season, he said he thinks they may have had too much. “I think we’ve always...
