The Giants got back to 53 players on their roster today, adding DT Dwayne Hendricks from their practice squad. Hendricks, who has been on and off the team’s practice squad since 2009, takes the place of DT Jimmy Kennedy, who was suspended by the NFL this week for four games for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
With five players ruled out for this week – CB Prince Amukamara (foot), RB Henry Hynoski (neck), RB Brandon Jacobs (knee), G Chris Snee (concussion), DE Justin Tuck (groin, neck) – the Giants will only have to make a decision on two players tomorrow come game time. The game day active roster is 46 players this season, up from 45 in years past.
C David Baas (neck) and LS Zak DeOssie (concussion) are questionable, but both are expected to be active. LB Michael Boley (knee) and DE Osi Umenyiora (knee) are listed as probable and are both expected to start.
