The Giants have been long overdue for a backfield overhaul. By the end of their Super Bowl run it was obvious that both elements in the Brandon Jacobs/Ahmad Bradshaw tandem had very little tread left on their tires.

The Giants let Jacobs walk to San Francisco and drafted Virginia Tech’s RB David Wilson.
