With injuries to David Baas and Chris Snee, the Giants needed to get some support for their offensive line. To make room on the roster for center Dallas Reynolds, who the Giants signed today, they had to release Da'Rel Scott. Scott was the team's second leading rusher. Reynolds comes to Giants via the Philadelphia Eagles. It's always a great thing when you can take someone away from a divisional rival that you play twice a year. Even if it's just a few key tips that they divulge, sometimes the little things help NFL teams win games. Dallas Reynolds was undrafted out of BYU, where he was named First-Team All-Mountain West Conference twice, once as a tackle and once as a center. He might provide some versatility to the Giants, but he has yet to play tackle in the NFL. Reynolds signed with the Eagles in 2009, and was on their practice squad until last year when he started in 14 games due to an injury to the Eagles starting center. Not much else is known about Reynolds and the Giants' plan for him, but his 14 games of experience would already make him one of the senior members of the new version of the New York Giants' offensive line. Baas and Snee are both expected to miss next week's game against the Eagles. David Diehl suited up last week but did not play, which could mean he might play on Sunday. Dallas Reynolds could easily find himself tossed into the mix pretty quickly!

Giants counting on brotherly love to close gap in NFC East

If the New York Giants have any chance of salvaging this season, it sounds like the team believes it will have to pin their slim hopes on the broad shoulders of a Manning or two. If there was ever a good time for Giants quarterback Eli Manning to cash in on a family favor — it couldn't have come at a better time than this weekend. As the Oh-and-four Giants regroup after...

Coughlin laughs off Cruz's fourth-down criticism

Being 0-4 for the second time in his coaching career hasn't cost Tom Coughlin his sense of humor. The two-time Super-Bowl winning leader of the New York Giants was ready Monday when asked about receiver Victor Cruz's postgame criticism of his decision to punt one day earlier on fourth-and-less than a yard from the New York 30 with the team down 10-7. Will the Giants Make the Playoffs?

Antrel Rolle thinks the Giants can still make the playoffs despite their 0-4 start. He may be a little crazy considering only one 0-4 team has ever made the playoffs, but he may also have a point. The Giants are only two games behind the Cowboys and have one left to play against them. That means in the eleven other games they must make up at least one game on the Cowboys....

Rolle doesn't think everyone in Giants’ locker room believes team can win

It was the most scathing statement from Antrel Rolle's weekly WFAN radio spot even if he didn't intend it to be . The Giants safety continued his "Believe" campaign on Tuesday reiterating that the Giants can win once they believe they can win. But does the team believe it can win? Rolle does but he couldn't say for sure that all of his teammates do. "...

Antrel Rolle: Not Everyone in the Locker Room Believes in Big Blue

Antrel Rolle may be among the most positive Giants remaining in the locker room, but a brutally honest comment by Rolle may reveal part of the reason why the Giants have been off to a horrible start to the season. During his weekly radio interview with WFAN, Rolle stated that not everyone in the locker room believes in the Giants this year. Per New York Daily News: "...

Justin Tuck Says He’ll Punch Any Player in The Mouth Who Turns on Tom Coughlin

Instead of punching each other, they might try punching opposing teams in the mouth. They have been abused this season. “If anyone turns on our coach, I would be the first one to punch him in the mouth,” Tuck said, according to the New York Daily News. “And put that in print. It better not happen, I know that.”
