Here comes the tough part for the Giants.
With the Giants set to face the New England Patriots (5-2) in Foxborough on Sunday afternoon, it begins a slate of tough games that will test the mettle of the team. It has been discussed ad nauseam, but it’s not without merit: the schedule ahead is brutal. The Giants will be tested and now we’ll be able to see if this team is for real.
It all starts with the Patriots. They are one of the league’s elite teams (especially on offense) and boast a QB/head coach combo in Tom Brady and Bill Belichick that is second to none.
The Giants have a good combo, too, in Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin. I know I don’t have to remind anyone here what happened the last time these two teams played for real.
