The Packers have been laying low lately but that will change on the field tomorrow. The Packers were 8-0 at Lambeau Field during the regular season. The Packers beat the Giants 38-35 just six weeks ago in New Jersey in one of the most exciting games of the year. The Giants have been talking a lot of smack, and they will get a chance to back it up on the field tomorrow. Here is a look at the matchups in this game: When the Packers have the ball: The Packers don’t change for anyone. They are going to spread the field and attack the Giants down the field with the passing game. The key for the Packers will be giving Aaron Rodgers enough time to throw the ball. To help the offensive line in this game, I look for Rodgers to get rid of the ball extremely quick on short passes. As soon as the Giants sneak up to take away the short pass, that’s when Rodgers will go over the top to WRs Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson. I also think that the Packers might run the ball a lit...

On Pro Football: Giants’ Defense Delivers in Playoffs Again

Packers earn poor playoff grades in loss

A 15-1 record in the regular season didn't mean much following the Packers' early exit in the playoffs, losing to the New York Giants, 37-20. Handing out grades following the Packers' season-ending loss: Passing Offense: C- Six dropped passes by Packers receivers was just one reason why the passing game didn't work against the Giants. Giants vs Packers Rematch: Three Reasons Why the Giants Will Win in Green Bay

In this NFC Division Round game between the Giants and the Packers, the Giants are considered to be the heavy underdogs against a Packers team that went 15-1 this past season. They will face off on Sunday at 4:30 PM EST. Both teams are now healthy and it should be a great re-match to the game they had in Week 13 at MetLife Stadium, in which the Giants narrowly lost by a score of...

Hype Is the Only Thing Packers Haven't Achieved This Season

If there's one thing the NFL does better than just about everyone else in the world, it is hype. There's no story too small for the league to turn into a media firestorm and they've gotten so good at stoking the fires that it sometimes seems like the off-season generates more attention than the games themselves. Given this ability, it's a bit odd that it has felt...

Ouster Of Brees And Rodgers Looms Ominously For Brady

Congratulations, Tom Brady! You just knocked Tim Tebow out of the playoffs and saved us an additional week of soft focus Rick Reilly columns about how Tebow is a good quarterback but an even BETTER human being. That's the good news. The bad news is that you are the last man standing when it comes to elite QBs carrying lousy defenses. There were three teams in the divisional...

Lupica: Big Blue believers

It will be harder this time for Eli Manning and the Giants at Lambeau Field, even if the weather conditions aren’t supposed to be. It is a better Packers team this time and a better Packers quarterback. The Giants go up against 15-1 this time at Lambeau, go up against Aaron Rodgers having as great a regular season as any quarterback has ever had, in Green Bay or anywhere else.
