Could this be the last season for wide receiver Greg Jennings in Green Bay? (Credit: AP Photo) In September, Green Bay Packers wide receiver told reporters he knew that 2012 could be his last season with the team. Since September, nothing has changed Jennings perception of his role with the team. Furthermore, throughout this season, receivers like James Jones and Randall Cobb have emerged as legitimate weapons. While on a podcast with Steve Wyche and Mark Kriegel of the NFL Network, Jennings said that he expects to be plying his trade for another team in 2013 and beyond. “I’m gonna lean to the ‘no’ side of it,” Jennings said. “That’s my educated guess, my personal educated guess.” Unless the team franchises Jennings, he will most likely sign with another team in the off-season. Jennings would command a hefty price and the team has to worry about other players before signing Jennings. In addition, with a superstar quarterback like Aaron Rodgers, most wide receivers would become better. The team has not seen that big of a drop-off with Jennings out from injuries this season.
