NFL Trade Rumors:
Packers WR Greg Jennings mentioned that he would like to return in the near future, but that doesn’t coincide with the doctors timetable for his abdominal injury.
“We don’t really see eye to eye,” Jennings said, via the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “But I don’t think any player and doc are on the same page when it comes to an injury any time you have to sit out.”
Jennings admits that he has a timetable in mind for his return, but didn’t want to provide any further details. He’ll miss another game this weekend against the Lions, but there’s at least a remote chance he could be back in the weeks to follow. Randall Cobb and James Jones have afforded Green Bay the luxury of ensuring that Jennings is 100 percent upon returning.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Any inquiries about Aaron Rodgers' personal life are consistently met with an immediate dismissal by the Packers' MVP quarterback. As reports surfaced this week that Rodgers is now engaged to his girlfriend, the fiercely private 28-year-old refused to discuss it during his Wednesday interview with local media.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The massive scar along Desmond Bishop's right leg is a daily reminder to the Packers' inside linebacker that he's never going to be the same physically. Well, not the physical appearance near the area of his surgically repaired hamstring, anyway.
It's not that Bishop won't be able to regain the level of play that led him to be Green Bay'...
In a move that I'm sure shocked his male roommate, it appears Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has recently been engaged to random blonde "woman," Destiny Newton. Speculation on this topic has run rampant after Rodgers and Newton were seen watching Aaron's younger brother, Jordan Rodgers, help Vanderbilt pull out a win against Kentucky this last weekend...
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews will miss Sunday's game against Detroit because of a hamstring injury, coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday. Matthews was hurt two weeks ago in a game against the Arizona Cardinals and the hamstring hasn't healed sufficiently for him to play this week, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reported. Matthews, who has experienced hamstring...
Recently, BC has been grinding away at all Wisconsin sports legend engagement news. Yes, we broke the Ryan Braun-Larisa Fraser story. Yes, we broke the Aaron Rodgers-Destiny Newton engagement story. And the best part? Wisconsin beat writers are acting all high and mighty, like they are above this type of news…typical jock-sniffers. Meanwhile the Aaron Rodgers engagement is blowing...
Per a tweet from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers have placed tackle Brian Bulaga on season-ending injured reserve (IR) and signed linebacker Vic So’oto.
Bulaga, drafted by the Packers with the 23rd pick of the 2010 NFL draft, hurt his hip in the Packers win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9. As he underwent more and more tests, the speculation that the injury...
Bryan Bulaga's season is over with a dislocated hip, leaving the Packers perilously thin on the offensive line. There at least was some good news on the injury front as the team returned from its bye on Monday.
While the Green Bay Packers have ruled linebacker Clay
Matthews and wide receiver Greg Jennings out for Sunday’s contest against the
Detroit Lions, wide receiver Jordy Nelson “appears a safe bet to play,”
according to ESPN Wisconsin.
Matthews (hamstring), Jennings (abdomen) and safety Charles
Woodson (collarbone) will all miss Sunday’s game, but they all aren’t far...

With the Packers returning on Monday from a much-needed bye, we continue our position-by-position report on the team with the defensive backs. With a bounce-back season by Tramon Williams and solid play by the youngsters, the pass defense is greatly improved.
