Fox Sports Wisconsin:
Did Greg Jennings refuse to refer to Aaron Rodgers by name out of malice, or was the new Minnesota Vikings receiver simply taking a playful shot at his former quarterback? Did Jennings imply that he'd prefer to play with Brett Favre over Rodgers, or was the phrasing of his response just confusing?
These are the questions still unanswered after Jennings sat down for a question-and-answer interview this week with the Pioneer Press in Minnesota.
Jennings was asked by reporter Bob Sansevere about Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder, prefacing the question by stating that Jennings played with two potential Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Green Bay.
"When you talk about comparing quarterbacks, it's hard to compare guys," Jennings replied. "I'll take Brett. He did it for so long. I got there in a period of time where Brett already was there (as an elite quarterback). Then the guy they have now, he sat behind Brett and he learned so much. Christian didn't really...

This week is one of the Minnesota Vikings Organized Team Activities, or OTA's, or I don't know what they're doing. I haven't been paying attention. I've been far too busy remembering that Purple Jesus is a god. But apparently things aren't going too hot for Christian Ponder. He threw three ugly interceptions during a practice round yesterday (Same with new...

John Carlson’s first season with the Minnesota Vikings didn’t go quite the way anybody hoped.
However, the Vikings are not second-guessing the decision to make Carlson one of the NFL's higher-paid tight ends.
With the growing trend of two tight end sets, Carlson is a valuable commodity to book end with second year Pro-Bowler Kyle Rudolph.
Carlson was drafted by the...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier has been around the NFL for a long time and stresses the groundwork put in during the summer to set the standard for the upcoming season. But one player is forcing Frazier to calm himself down and realize it's still only June.
Tight end Kyle Rudolph, entering his third year in the NFL, is turning heads at Minnesota...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Jeff George has been a name that has tantalized Minnesota Vikings' fans since his 12-game run with the team back in 1999.
George, the 12-year NFL quarterback and former first-overall pick in the 1990 draft, was back on the field for Minnesota this week. But hold off on any thought the 45-year-old is challenging for Christian Ponder's starting spot. George...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. In an offseason in which the Minnesota Vikings made several tough, and somewhat unpopular, business decisions with several veteran players, the team left Jared Allen and his 17 million-plus cap hit alone.
Allen, entering the final season of a six-year, 73 million contract, is due a 14.28 million base salary. He's coming off a season with depressed numbers...

Phil Loadholt became a big part of the Vikings’ offensive improvement in 2012 and was happy to see the Vikings step up with a long-term contract offer.
Brian Robison’s shoulder injury last year has left him with bone protruding from his shoulder that could be permanent. Plus, the Vikings had a big day helping others and notes from an open-access OTA.
How fast a man’s feelings can change. Barely a year and a half ago, back when he was still with the Green Bay Packers, wide receiver Greg Jennings claimed that Aaron Rodgers was a better quarterback than Brett Favre had ever been. While a guest on the Ian O’Connor show out of ESPN New York 1050, [...]The post Greg Jennings disses Aaron Rodgers by Rourke Douglas Decker appeared...
Over the weekend one of the more popular stories on the web involved former NFL Donovan McNabb who insisted that RG3 was doing 'too much' and should just be concentrating on football. He claimed that he even reached out to Griffin and his family in order to have a sit down with the young quarterback so he could spread his wisdom.
Sounded like it could be true, right...
I will be perfectly frank, I am just posting this to hopefully annoy Donovan McNabb.
I think it is funny Albert Breer of the NFL Network posted this video and it just happens to be playing Juicy J in the background. Wonder if he had ever heard of the song before. Thanks for Pro Football Zone for the scoop.
No one this means anything right now. RG3 shouldn’t rush back, but...
