The relationship between Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano and quarterback Josh Freeman has been tenuous at best. It now stands to get a whole lot worse. According to the Tampa Bay Times, Schiano "rigged" the outcome of the team's recent election so Freeman would not earn a captain spot. Predictably, Schiano denied these claims, saying they're "100 percent false." However, another report suggests that, during a players-only meeting, "the legitimacy of the captain's vote might have been on the agenda." It's tough ship for Freeman, Bucs

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2013 Week 2 NFL Power Rankings (#24)

I said before the season that I didn’t think Josh Freeman would last the season in Tampa Bay. I’m even more confident in that now. This week, they took his captaincy away. That’s incredibly rare.
