On a day when the Saints, as backup quarterback Chase Daniel put it, "got their leader back," the main cause of their tumultuous offseason shed some light on his future.
Making his first public appearance since BountyGate broke, disgraced defensive coordinator Gregg Williams vowed to eventually resurface in the NFL.
"I will coach again," Williams told ESPN.com at his charity golf tournament in Missouri.
When pressed about the ongoing scandal, however, Williams declined to comment, saying Friday's event was "all about the kids."
Williams, who's serving a league-imposed indefinite suspension, added that he has not spoken with commissioner Roger Goodell since the Saints' punishment was announced.
Goodell has left the door open for Williams to one day return to the sidelines, but that's another story for another time -- next year.
