Rex Grossman has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Washington Redskins. Grossman's return gives the Redskins the same trio of quarterbacks as last season, and his veteran presence is an extra piece of insurance in case Robert Griffin III doesn't recover from a serious knee injury by Week 1 in September. Grossman agreed to the deal Wednesday. He's played nine NFL seasons and once took the Chicago Bears to the Super Bowl, but he again is projected to be the third-stringer behind Griffin and Kirk Cousins. Griffin had reconstructive surgery on his right knee in January. Cousins is expected to work with the starters during the spring minicamps and other offseason workouts.

Report: Redskins Re-Sign QB Rex Grossman

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Redskins have re-signed QB Rex Grossman. This is a somewhat surprising move given that they just signed Pat White to a one-year deal and already have Kirk Cousins firmly entrenched as Robert Griffin III‘s backup. On top of that, Washington has very limited cap space and is believed to still have interest in free agent CB Antoine Winfield...

Former WVU Quarterback Pat White Signs With The Washington Redskins

wvusports.com The Washington Redskins signed former West Virginia star Pat White earlier this week. If used correctly, White could be a quality backup. Redskins Bring Back DeAngelo Hall, To The Delight Of Everyone But Redskins Fans

Schadenfreude is at its best when you can watch a team cut ties with a player who is universally detested by that team’s fan base, only to bring him back later, producing delightfully shrill cries of frustration and anguish. Such is the case with the Redskins and DeAngelo Hall. At the beginning of March, Washington released Hall, the most visible and perhaps the most picked on...

Originally, Hall was scheduled to make nearly $8 million under his former contract. Hall generated no...

Fred Davis expected to be cleared for full activity in June

According to the Washington Post, Redskins’ tight end Fred Davis is expected to be cleared for full activity in June.
