Aaron Rodgers. Tom Brady. Eli and Peyton Manning. Drew Brees. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and his agent believe he’s right there with the elite class of NFL quarterbacks. Flacco’s agent, Joe Linta, created a stir in February when he said Flacco should be considered a top-five quarterback based on wins and losses. Flacco took it one step further Tuesday, telling WNST 1570 in Baltimore on Tuesday that he believes he’s the “best” quarterback in the NFL.

“I assume everybody thinks they’re a top-five quarterback,” Flacco said when asked where he thinks he ranks among NFL quarterbacks. “I mean, I think I’m the best. I don’t think I’m top five, I think I’m the best. I don’t think I’d be very successful at my job if I didn’t feel that way. I mean, c’mon? That’s not really too tough of a question.

Meanwhile all the NFL experts wouldn’t be surprised if the Ravens drafted a quarterback in the draft this year. I understand the theory that you’re suppose to believe in yourself and believe in your ability but this is lunacy. Joe Flacco may be one of the worst quarterbacks in the league. I’d take both Mannings, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, Newton, Dalton, Romo, Vick, Fitzgerald, Stafford, Schaub, Ryan, Rivers, and probably consider Smith and Josh Freeman over Flacco. How’s that for the best?  This is hysterical. Cue a response from Ed Reed.

Joe Flacco thinks he’s the best quarterback in football

Joe Flacco must be crazy, because he thinks he is the best quarterback in football. Appearing on WNST Monday, the Ravens quarterback was asked if he believed he was a top-five quarterback in the NFL — a debate sparked by Flacco’s agent, who was pursuing top-five quarterback money for his client. Flacco one-upped his representative. “Without a doubt. What do you expect me to...

Joe Flacco: The Best QB In The NFL

Apparently someone forgot to tell Joe Flacco that April Fool’s Day was on Sunday, not Tuesday. That’s when he went on the air at a Baltimore radio station and said — we sh*t you not — “I assume everybody thinks they’re a top-five quarterback. I mean, I think I’m the best. I don’t think I’m top five, I think I’m the best. I don’t think I’d be very successful...

You Can’t be Serious – Baltimore Ravens’ Joe Flacco Claims He is One of The Best

Joe Flacco Is The Best Quarterback in Football

I can almost guarantee that the majority of the people that first read the title either laughed or assumed that this was written by a Ravens homer. The news was broke this morning and some people (myself included) are still laughing. What is this news? While speaking with Baltimore radio station WNST 1570, Flacco was asked if he agreed with the comments his agent, Joe Linta, made...

Confidence in yourself is essential to being successful at your profession, whatever that profession may be. Ravens’ Joe Flacco looking to have a Manning-like season

As ludicrous as it sounded we all know why he said it. Baltimore Raven’s starting quarterback Joe Flacco felt like he had been put on the spot when a radio station announcer asked him if he thought he was one of the top-five best quarterbacks in the league.Showing a lack of poise that has seemed to haunt him at times on the field also, he responded with all of the machismo he could...
