Hakeem Nicks Ruled Out For Game Against Eagles -
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks was downgraded to out on the team’s injury report Saturday, a day after the team said Nicks developed swelling in his knee. Nicks won’t travel with the Giants on Sunday when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles. With Nicks remaining in New Jersey this weekend, the next question becomes whether Nicks will be available when the Giants host the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 7. Ramses Barden did an excellent job filling in for Nicks against the Carolina Panthers. They’ll need Barden to step up again against the Eagles.

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks was listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report after developing swelling in his knee. He had been expected to return to the lineup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday after missing the Giants' Week 3 game at the Carolina Panthers, but the knee issue is believed to be a result of him compensating for his sore foot.
The frustration continues for Hakeem Nicks owners. The star receiver missed last week after aggravating a foot injury but he appeared to be on track to play in week 4. There appears to be a complication that has caused the Giants to downgrade Nicks' status to doubtful that is not related to the foot to painful swelling in a knee.

Everywhere in sports, great athletes have the same qualities. They win championships. They win individual awards. Most of the time, they end up in their respective sports hall of fame.
