Hanson: Lions showing a little more anger than in past after 1-3 start

Lions kicker Jason Hanson has heard it on the sidelines. He has heard it in the locker room. Some of it has even been directed at him. It's anger. And he considers it a good sign that the Lions are not accepting their 1-3 record, even if outsiders don't expect much from a team coming off the NFL's first 0-16 season. "There has to be an element of, 'I better do my job, or they'll find someone who does,' " Hanson said. "That's the edge as an NFL player you have to have."
