The Baltimore Ravens just beat Tom Brady and Co. to become AFC Champs and will face the San Francisco 49ers in Superbowl XLVII. Here are a couple quick hits and storylines to be ready for. Jim Harbaugh vs John Harbaugh. Two best LB’s to wear No. 52 and perhaps any number in Ray Lewis and Patrick Willis will take the field. Colin Kaepernick vs Joe Flacco. 49ers are 5-0 in SB’s. Ravens are 1-0. Jack Harbaugh, the father of John and Jim will be asked numerous times on which son he is rooting for. 49ers open the early betting line as favorites. -4.5 at this time. I really like John Harbaugh, but sorry John, Jim’s got this.

Brady continues meme of ‘Bradying’ during playoff loss

The AFC Championship game did not go the way that Tom Brady and the New England Patriots had hoped. Not all is upset with the Patriots loss as twitter exploded with a slue of tweets about #Bradying. It seems everyone thought that with about 8:27 seconds left in the 4th quarter it was the perfect time to take out the phone and snap a shot of Brady.

Ray Lewis’ First Career Sack Was Against Jim Harbaugh

Greatest NFL coincidence of all time? Ray Lewis will be playing his last game pitted against the man who he got his first career sack off–49ers coach Jim Harbaugh. 17 years ago, back when Reverend Ray was still just  in proverbial Sunday school, he got his first career sack off 33-year-old Colts Quarterback Jim Harbaugh. NFL.com dug up the almost too awesome to believe stat...

Ed Reed Says Tom Brady Called to Apologize for Kicking Him

Brady should be fine. I don’t think it was the worst thing I have ever seen, but the NFL fines players for wearing their socks too high, so I think Brady should be a little lighter in the wallet. For his part Ed Reed says he isn’t tripping. “I told him — you know, we talked,” Reed told WJZ-FM in Baltimore. “We talked actually not too long ago, we talked on the phone....

In rematch, Ravens hold on to reach Super Bowl

Tom Brady's pass deflected high into the air off the hand of Baltimore lineman Pernell McPhee before floating gently downfield and into the arms of linebacker Dannell Ellerbe. And the rematch went to the Ravens. A year after the New England Patriots took advantage of a dropped touchdown and a missed Baltimore field goal to advance to their fifth Super Bowl in 11 seasons, the...

Ed Reed: Brady apologized for slide

Did Tom Brady try to intentionally kick safety Ed Reed during Sunday’s AFC Championship game? (Credit: AP Photo) With twenty seconds left in the first half of the AFC Championship, New England quarterback Tom Brady scrambled out of the pocket to pick up a few yards. At the end of the play, Brady kicked his leg up a little too high and looked to be intentionally trying to kick safety...

Tom Brady wants Wes Welker to come back next season

For the second straight offseason, wide receiver Wes Welker’s future with the New England Patriots is uncertain. Quarterback Tom Brady once again made it clear that he wants Welker to come back next season, while talking with Dennis & Callahan Show on Boston sports radio WEEI. “Everybody knows how I feel about Wes, our whole team feels that way about Wes,” Brady said,...

John Harbaugh: Belichick is classy

With everyone saying Bill Belichick and Tom Brady were sore losers, I was glad to see this headline. Belichick caused a stir last night when he didn't interview with CBS, a customary thing to do after a game, win or lose. As a result of this, Bill was labeled as unprofessional and a sore loser. I think John Harbaugh has the biggest say in whether or not Bill is classy or not...

Ravens Take Down Patriots: 5 Things We Learned

The Baltimore Ravens were seeking revenge for their 23-20 loss in last year's AFC Championship game.  They would get revenge by dominating the second half to defeat the Patriots, 28-13.  After trailing 13-7 at the half, it was all Ravens in the second half, shutting the Patriots out 21-0 to move on to the Super Bowl, or should I say the "HarBowl."  The Harbaugh brothers...

Murphy’s Law does the Patriots in

Ugh It is an experience common to all men to find that, on any special occasion, such as the production of a magical effect for the first time in public, everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Whether we must attribute this to the malignity of matter or to the total depravity of inanimate things, whether the exciting cause is hurry, worry, or what not, the fact remains. I was...
