The Philadelphia Eagles fell to 2-3 and last place in the NFC East after losing to the Washington Redskins this past Sunday. To make matters worse, their biggest weapon, Brian Westbrook, sustained fractured ribs in the losing effort. So what happens if Westbrook can't go for a couple of weeks? Correll Buckhalter and Lorenzo Booker won't match the output of a healthy Brian Westbrook, but they could do a decent job. But what if I told you the Eagles had a chance to draft a leading candidate for "Offensive Rookie of the Year" this season and they blew it?..........

  • If they wanted a runningback who was quick, fast and elusivw like westbrook, why didn't the draft Chris Johnson?
  • Or Felix Jones.
  • I said this is 2 other posts. The eagles had an oppurtunityh for two years now to get impact players int he draft. they took kevin kolb who is holding a clipboard and i don't see mcnabb leaving anytime soon and we traded our other first. i would have taken greg olsen the tight end that is now in chicago and this year felix jones to compliment westbrook instead of booker. you think this offense would look a little better if you get curtis, jackson, felix, olsen and westbrook all on the field at once.. the defenses head would be spinning..
  • The Eagles havent made too many good decisions on draft day in the past....not just the last two years. Andrews is a good decision. Im still iffy on Patterson and Bunk. We all know about McDougal and Freddy Michell.
  • I think patterson and bunkley have helped. they are two starters do i think they are pro bowlers right now NO but they help the defense. mcdougel and freddy where horrible and kolb is holding a clip board.. andrews was a good decision when healthy and mentally stable.. but look even beyond the first round.. the best draft was that year with lito and sheldon.. but considine, mccoy some of those second round picks where terrible..
  • i think that wouldnt happen because if we have the 19 pick we were going to select otah and dont tell no because u know its true
